Of particular interest for the geodetic community is the GEO Task AR-07-03, which was proposed by IAG and is today led by IAG/GGOS. This task has two main objectives, namely, to link to users in the nine SBAs and to understand their requirements in terms of geodetic observations and products, and to leverage GEO as an intergovernmental organization for the promotion of GGOS and its products and eventually for the establishment of better and long-term support for the global geodetic infrastructure of GGOS.

A main deliverable of this task is the GGOS 2020 book, which has been compiled over the last two years and is now in its final review.
