GGOS Working Group on an ITRS Standard

This working group was established at the Fourteenth Meeting of the GGOS Steering Committee with the Charter to explore options for an ISO Standard on the global geodetic reference system. This ISO Standard would be based on the ITRS. The working group was established as a result of a discussion at the SC14, which took place after the presentation by Claude Boucher and Pascal Willis, which discussed various options, see pdf.

The Working Group is chaired by Claude Boucher. The work plan of the Working Group is available here as doc. For the latest version of the draft position paper, see the links on the left.

The group is expected to provide a position paper for the SC15. Comments on the draft or the work of the Working Group should be directed to the Chair.
