We will have a very tight time schedule and so we encourage people to read all of the materials for discussion and decisions ahead of time. These will all be placed at the website and further information will be sent to you. To complete the GGOS Steering Committee, three additional candidates need to be selected. These are Members at Large and are meant to balance geographic, regional projects, special talent distribution, and including diversity and gender where possible or appropriate. Please send any nomination(s) you think would be suited for these positions to the GGOS Chairs, along with a short summary of the nominee and their contact details by Thursday, March 16. The Chairs will prepare the list of candidates who respond positively to the nomination and the election will take place by email prior to the meeting in Vienna. Another key point of business is to elect three SC members to the Executive Committee. Currently the EC is comprised of the Chair, the two Vice-Chairs and the IAG President as observer. You will be contacted by the elections committee comprised of Angie Moore, Bjorn Engen and Werner Gurtner, who have agreed to manage this process on behalf of the SC. We would like to arrange a dinner on Wednesday evening if people are interested - please rsvp.
