Dear Prof. Drewes and Prof. Rothacher,

I thank you very much for our conversation regarding joint activities and the contact person from IAG to the JB GIS at the Ad hoc Committee on Risk and Disaster Management. As promised I attach the latest documents to this email;

• The document named “Ad hoc Committee on Risk and Disaster Management” is the initial document prepared by me and it was send to the JBGIS Members to appoint the members of the Ad Hoc Committee. Then the Member’s Info Document could be finalized stepwise.

·        In the Member’s Info Document you will find, as agreed with Prof. Sideris, the name of Prof. Drewes is on the line for IAG, but I will wait for another name from the Group inside the IAG and you may still have 2 representatives in the committee. However please inform the new contact person that we will be having the first meeting during the Gi4DM meeting in Prague on the 19-22 Jan 2009.

·        The two last documents are responses from IHO and ICA-FIG-GSDI.
